My name is Julia Ream and I am the Owner and Event Designer at YOU-niquely Yours, Events and Celebrations.  I have been professionally planning and decorating events since 1995, when my husband and I opened our first consulting business.  I am a nationally recognized presenter in business marketing and I hold a Master's Degree in School Administration. My passion for planning began long before all that, though.

I planned my first party in Kindergarten, typing out all the invitations using my own inventive spelling, of course!  Having to call all the parents and tell them I didn't have my parent's permission didn't stop me from planning a neighborhood circus and parade the summer before 2nd grade. (I was so bummed when my mom wouldn't let me call the police to block off the streets and my neighbor's dog wouldn't learn to jump through my hula-hoop).  The planning continued with surprise baby showers and birthday parties for my teachers- and this was all before 6th grade!​  My love for organizing and planning continued all throughout school so I decided to turn it into a business!

For 30 years, my husband and I have decorated, planned, organized, and hosted events, fundraisers, and celebrations all over central Missouri, and now in southern Missouri, too.​With my knowledge, creativity, experience, and passion for creating one-of-a-kind events, I know that I can help you create an event that is YOU-niquely Yours!​​
